Overview —

Papa Architects were engaged to replace 23 dilapidated bedsits, (with an approximate area 1,100 msq), with a hotel maximizing the development potential of the site. They achieved 91 rooms by using an L shape plan with a wing into the site to Travelodge requirements.

Satisfying Islington's planning vision Papa's design created a quiet building as a 'bookend' of the terrace by using appropriate materials and establishing a harmonious street line for a Victorian setting.
